Advanced Robotics / Careers

No two projects here are alike.

We don't build catalogue machines. Every order starts from a part we have never seen and a process that has to be understood before it can be automated. That is why the work is hard, and why it is interesting.

Working here

Four true things about this place

It starts from the part

Before the CAD comes the customer's samples. Whoever designs goes to see the line, rather than receiving a spec to fill in.

Disciplines together

Mechanics, robotics, machine vision and artificial intelligence share the same cell, and often the same meeting.

Real responsibility

A small team, with no middle layer deciding for you. Whoever runs a project runs it from analysis to production.

You see the result

At the end there is a machine running in a plant. Few other jobs close the loop like that.

The roles

The skills we need most often

There isn't always an opening for each of them, but these are the trades we build our cells with. If yours is among them, write to us even without a vacancy.

Mechanical design

Cells, grippers, dedicated fixtures. Here you design parts that will be built, not concepts.

Robot programming

ABB, FANUC, Yaskawa, Estun, KUKA. Whoever knows one learns the others in the field.

Machine vision and AI

Optics, lighting, training and validating models. It is the part growing fastest.

Automation and cell software

PLCs, control panels, operator interfaces, integration with the customer's systems.

Assembly and commissioning

Taking the cell from drawing to a machine in production, in our workshop and at the customer's site.

Service and support

Few calls, but they matter when they come. We design cells so they don't need them.

Theses and internships

Machine vision, AI for quality control, robotics: if you are looking for a thesis, let's talk.

Yours?

If you think you could help us and don't recognise yourself in any of these, write anyway.

To be honest

What you won't find

  • A desk jobYou go to the workshop, you go to the customer, you get your hands dirty on the part.
  • No travelCommissioning happens where the system is, and that isn't always Brescia.
  • A pre-printed career pathIn a small team, the people who grow are the ones who take things on, not the ones waiting for the next level.
  • Mass-produced productsIf you want the reassuring routine of an established line, this isn't the place.

If you are still interested after this list, we will probably get on well.

Where

Brescia, inside the Buffoli group

We are in Via Ferrini, in the Blue Tech Hub district. Being part of the Buffoli Industries group means sixty years of precision engineering and real workshops next door, not a purchasing office.

An engineer reads it

Applications are read by the people you would work with, not by an automatic filter.

We always reply

Even when the answer is no. Knowing your CV was read is better than silence.

A technical interview

We talk about machines and problems, not strengths and weaknesses.

Come to the workshop

Before deciding, you should see where you would be working.
